Robert Tucker II is a graduating senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism at Florida A&M University. He has served as FAMUTV 20 Head News, Entertainment & Weather Anchor since fall semester of 2022 within the School of Journalism & Graphic Communications (SJGC). He also was nominated in the spring semester of 2023 by the Florida Broadcasting Awards for "Best News Feature" Package. Mr. Tucker has written a plethora amount of articles through many news writing publications within the Tallahassee area.
He has served as a Head Producer and Host for the Saturday Morning show on WANM 90.5, since 2021.This platform allowed Tucker to voice factual information and opinions through south Georgia and north Florida regarding politics and entertainment. Robert has been awarded the Najee Harris-Roberto Culmero Outstanding Leadership Award and the Alfred L. Motlow III Perseverance award.
Additionally, this past summer Mr. Tucker served as an intern with ABC Headquarters in New York City, NY. With this platform, he was able to format stories and assist production engineers with the successful streaming of ABC World News Tonight with David Muir and Good Morning America.
